Goya-Project


Goya-Project connects world music with elements of Nu Jazz with cool and relaxed grooves. Goya project was founded by the producer Thoralf Abgarjan, who collaborated with several musicians with completely different ethnic backgrounds: Paula Moreno (voc.) from Brazil, Mario Morejon El Indio (trp.) from Cuba, Leonardo Kindelán Roché (sax) from Cuba, Henry Arland (clar.) from Germany, Anahit (voc.) from Armenia and Christine Marques (voc.) from India. Goya project is an authentic musical result of different cultures and musical backgrounds.	Goya-Project ist musikalisch grenzüberschreitend und verbindet Weltmusik mit Elementen des Nu-Jazz mit coolen und chilligen Grooves. Gegründet wurde es von Produzent Thoralf Abgarjan, der Künstler verschiedenster Kulturkreise gewinnen konnte, an diesem Projekt mitzuwirken: Paula Moreno (voc.) aus Brasilien, Mario Morejon El Indio (trp.) aus Cuba, Leonardo Kindelán Roché (sax) aus Cuba, Henry Arland (clar.) aus Deutschland, Anahit (voc.) aus Armenien und Christine Marques (voc.) aus Indien. Die Einflüsse der beteiligten Künstler sind unmittelbar spürbar und erlebbar - ein authentisches Zeugnis unterschiedlichster Kulturen und musikalischer Hintergründe.

Um a Um, feat. Paula Moreno (Brazil) Paula Moreno (voc.) from Brazil lives in Toullouse (France) and sings with her special and sexy charme "Um a Um", Tribalistas: Relaxed and cool with her crisp voice. The saxophone was played by Leo Kindelán Roché.	Paula Moreno (voc.) aus Brasilien lebt seit einigen Jahren in Toullouse (F) und interpretiert "Um a Um", Tribalistas, mit ihrem unvergleichlich verzaubernden Charme: Relaxed und sinnlich mit seidiger Stimme. Das Saxophon wurde von Leo Kindelán Roché gespielt.

Aaj Andhere Mein, feat. Christine Marques (India) Christine Marques (voc.) from India lives in New Delhi. She visited the Frankfurt Music fair in spring 2005. During these days we recorded the song in the traditional Hindi language. Her vocals are so inspiring with multi layered choirs. Le, Le Yaman, feat. Anahit (Armenia) Anahit Abgarjan comes from Armenia and lives in Tutzing near Munich. The song "Le, Le Yaman" is based on an old Armenian folk song. Interesting is here the combination of choirs with her soprano voice. The Armenian traditional instrument duduk is to hear in this song.	Anahit Abgarjan lebt in Süddeutschland nahe München. Der Titel Le, Le Yaman ist die Bearbeitung eines armenischen Volksliedes. Besonders interessant ist die Verschmelzung der Chöre mit der hohen Sopranstimme. Als Besonderheit kommt in diesem Stück das armenische Traditionsinstrument Duduk vor.

Sunrise, feat. Mario Morejon el Indio (Cuba) Sunrise is a ballad based on elements of Nu-Jazz. Mario Morejon el Indio comes from Cuba . He has lived in Germany for some years. He used to be a member of Cuban leading Band "Irakere" under the musical director Chucho Valdéz. His performance is brilliant and his sound has a remarkable musical transparency, never loosing its Caribian roots.	Sunrise ist eine Ballade mit vielerlei Elementen des Nu-Jazz. Der Cubaner Mario Morejon el Indio lebt seit einigen Jahren in Süddeutschland und machte sich einen Namen als Bandmitglied der weltberühmten cubanischen Band Irakere unter ihrem musikalischen Direktor Chucho Valdéz. Sein virtuoses Trompetenspiel belebt die Sinne. Er ist aber nicht nur aus technischer Sicht ein Virtuose, sondern vermittelt eine bemerkenswerte musikalische Transparenz, die ihren karibischen Hintergrund nie verliert.

Ambiances, feat, Anahit (Armenia) Ambiances is a combination of Himalaya-singing and the harmony of African choires.	Ambiances ist eine vielleicht etwas gewagte Kombination aus Himalaya-Gesängen und der Harmonik afrikanisch anmutender Chöre. Berührungsängste sind meine Sache nicht....

Fabiana, feat. Mario Morejon el Indio (Cuba) Fabiana is a wild dancer, full of temperament. The song in the style of Nu-Jazz is that fast and impatient - overall spiced with the tempo of the virtuose trumpet playing of Mario. Greetings from Irakere!	Fabiana ist eine wilde Tänzerin, temperamentvoll, unberechenbar und heissblütig. Der Song im Nu-Jazz-Style ist genau so zappelig und ungeduldig - gleichwohl geprägt vom Tempo des virtuosen Trompetensounds von Mario. Irakere läßt grüßen.

Klezmatic, feat. Henry Arland (Germany) Klezmatic is a song based on the tradition of Klezmer. The clarinet is played by Henry Arland, with his emotional and special crispy sound.	Klezmatic greift die Tradition des Klezmer auf. Die Klarinette wird von Henry Arland gespielt, der einen ganz eigenständigen Sound aus der Klarinette hervorzaubert.
